CEEMET President

Mr Roberto Maglione– CEEMET President 2009-2010 Roberto Maglione, currently Executive Vice President Human Resources of the Finmeccanica Group (more than 73,000 employees expected at the end of 2008), was born in Vercelli on the 20th  August 1957.   Throughout his career he has held roles of increasing responsibility, mainly in the Human Resources area: before joining the Finmeccanica Group, he was Human Resources Executive Vice President in the Telecom Italia Group (121,000 employees in 2001), in TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile – the most important Italian Wireless Company), and in the Olivetti Group (21,000 employees in 1998).    Mr Maglione played a key role in the start up of the first Italian pay TV in 2003, SKY Italia – part of the R. Murdoch Group – and in the merger between Olivetti Solution and Wang Inc., which led to the establishment of the Wang Global Group (more than 11,000 employees in 1997).   He has been invited to deliver lectures for PhD and Master’s programmes at the eBusiness Management School of ISUFI at the University of Lecce and at the University of Rome Tor Vergata; Contract Professor at the Political Sciences Faculty of the “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” based in Milan and at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Lecce.   He is currently Federmeccanica Vice President European Affairs and President of CEEMET.
